This is why you can’t earn eternal life.
Religion says: “Do more. Be better. Try harder.”
The gospel says: “Done. Paid in full. Believe.”
You had a debt you couldn’t pay.
Jesus paid a debt He didn’t owe.
You don’t work FOR salvation. You receive it BY faith.
The moment you believe on Jesus Christ, you’re:
Forgiven. Justified. Righteous. Sealed. Forever.
Not because you’re good. Because He is.
Send this to someone who thinks they have to “clean up” before coming to Jesus.
What part of the gospel set YOU free?

How can a holy God save sinful people?
The book of Romans gives us the answer.
The Romans Road begins by showing us our condition:
• No one is righteous. (Romans 3:10)
• All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory. (Romans 3:23)
Then it shows us God’s solution:
• Christ died for us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:8)
• Eternal life is a free gift through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
Finally, it tells us how that gift is received.
“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.” (Romans 10:4)
Salvation is not earned by keeping the law or by doing good works. It is received by faith in Jesus Christ.
Romans 10 also speaks about confessing and calling upon the Lord. But notice the order Paul gives.
You cannot call on someone you do not believe in.
“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?” (Romans 10:14)
Belief comes first.
Calling upon the Lord and confessing Him are the natural response of a heart that believes the gospel. They are not additional works added to faith in order to be saved.
That is why Paul can also say:
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
Everyone who believes in Christ can confidently call upon His name because He alone is their Savior.
Salvation has never been about what you can do for God.
It has always been about what Jesus Christ has already done for you.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith… not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Ephesians 2:8-9

America celebrates independence today.
Believers celebrate something even greater.
Christ died for our sins.
He was buried.
He rose again the third day.
Everyone who believes on Him has everlasting life.
That's the greatest freedom anyone could ever receive.
God bless America.
Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸
The gospel is good news because Jesus brought redemption to those who religious folk reject and condemn.
"This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief."
1 Timothy 1:15 KJV
One of the greatest causes of confusion in Christianity is treating salvation and discipleship as though they are the same thing.
They are not.
Salvation is God’s gift.
Discipleship is our response.
Salvation answers:
“How do I receive eternal life?”
The answer is simple:
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Discipleship answers:
“Now that I have eternal life, how should I live?”
The answer is:
Follow Christ.
This distinction matters because if you confuse discipleship with salvation, you will either spend your life wondering if you’ve done enough… or you’ll place burdens on people that Jesus never made conditions for receiving eternal life.
Interestingly, the word “disciple” is overwhelmingly found in the Gospels and Acts as Jesus called people to follow Him. The epistles shift their emphasis to the identity of the believer: saints, children of God, brethren, those who are in Christ. Yet the call to obey Christ, walk in love, renew our minds, and imitate Him continues throughout the New Testament.
In other words, the terminology changes, but the principle does not.
We are not saved by following Jesus.
We follow Jesus because He has already saved us.
Never reverse that order.
Believe first.
Grow afterward.
Grace first.
Obedience follows.

You don’t become more holy by constantly thinking about sin.
You become transformed by renewing your mind to focus on Christ.
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…”
Proverbs 23:7 KJV
The Christian life isn’t lived by obsessing over the flesh.
It’s lived by walking in the Spirit.
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”
Galatians 5:16 KJV
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 KJV
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 KJV
