@lpsmediaoffice If police write false things about you you can always ask for a correction or issue a statement of disagreement. You can also file a Human Rights complaint at the tribunal and get your version out too. 😊

@Surviving51D I'm glad we connected, even having just one person say to me they believe me and know how I feel, that means a lot. I hope some people read my page and are more cautious with police. That's the whole point. Don't be naive and trust police.

Det. Viv Meik showed up in court when I wasn't taking his mental health diversion. They offered me a peace bond which I rejected as well. I called him a liar in open court in front of a judge. Even though I was so broken I am so proud of myself that I stood up for myself.

My injuries were so bad I had to go to the ER after & be monitored for a concussion. I had a handprint on my back & a big scratch down the middle. My wrists were bruised & my face was severely injured. Toronto Police gang assaulted me on a false accusation of throwing food!

I was a victim of assault so many times with witnesses & once even caught on camera & police never charged my abusers but anytime someone made a false accusation about me police charged me. This is called having a bias. I was also never given any info about victim services. #blm

Taylor Swift is a great example of how you can reclaim what's yours, your story. You can issue a statement of disagreement in your police file and medical chart. Review what people wrote about you and then issue corrections/give them your version.

I'm lucky I am a middle class white woman. I was treated like garbage but if I was a person of color from a different neighborhood they would have treated me a lot worse. I can recognize my privledge. That's why I speak up b/c they won't attack me, they'll just call me crazy.

I love how there were so many cop cars on scene but they didn't give the Crown video from any of them b/c it would show them assaulting me.They gave her the one facing away where I am peeing myself from fear & when they are being "all nice" saying "we aren't trying to hurt you."

@Surviving51D She suffered the whistleblower effect. They tried to pay her off but she didn't want to sign an NDA. It's kind of what Harvey Weinstein did with women he abused right? Abusers have the same playback. Eventually the house of cards comes crashing down. Not everyone will take the $.
