Today was day one of State Speech at KHS and we had a blast hosting Class A and B! We had two students compete (Mackenzie K in Informative and Auggie L in POI) and they both did an awesome job! Auggie Lehn ended up getting 6th place overall in Class A! @ryanhogue24 @JGanz23

I am excited to announce that I have accepted a school counseling position at Beatrice High School for the 2022/2023 school year. My past 7 years at Kearney High School have been amazing and I will miss everyone there, but I am ready to see what this next chapter will bring!

A huge congratulations to our AMAZING team at State Speech today. KHS was Class A State Runner-ups!! This is the first time since team sweepstakes were recorded 1976 that Kearney has placed over 3rd place as a team. To say we are proud would be an understatement.
