Running a frontline service means responding to the changing needs of beneficiaries. At HopeWorks, adaptability has been core to our longevity.
37 years later, we are still here - keeping our ears close to the ground for whatever change might be around the corner.
One of our long-term clients recently began driving lessons. Once he has passed his test, this will enable him to get a job driving - a strong fit for his need for quiet and space.
Through consistent support, we help people to rebuild towards a brighter future.
We received this donation a couple of weeks ago from a lovely lady who dropped it off on her bike!
A big thank you to all who donate. Your love, prayer and kind generosity is so precious to us.
We recently received a grant of £2,216 from Sport England’s Movement Fund for a new Pathways gym!
The gym will offer clients the opportunity to exercise in a calm and friendly environment, improving both physical and mental health.
A huge thank you to the staff and pupils at Holywell School, who recently dropped off a donation of over 100 care packages as part of their Values Day!
There were so many packages that we shared them between all of our services.
Thank you to all involved for your generosity!
Today and every day, we’re saying a huge thank you to our incredible team, who make hope possible for so many.
Your hard work, kindness, and enthusiasm are what makes HopeWorks what it is. We see you, and we appreciate you.
Happy Employee Appreciation Day!
Peter moved into our accommodation last year. He was interested in horticulture, so we dug a patch of ground in the back garden of the house he lives in. 🪴
Peter said, ‘gardening has helped my mental health. It has given me something to look after other than myself.'
Bike Maintenance is one of the most popular courses we offer through Pathways. 🚲
Over 5 weeks, clients learn how to take care of a bike, from putting a chain back on to fixing a puncture. Best of all, clients learn on a bike they get to keep at the end of the course.
At the heart of HopeWorks is a simple belief: every person matters. Every story is worth hearing, every life is worth honouring and every individual has a place in the community.

Our art course offers Pathways clients the chance to learn different painting skills in a relaxing atmosphere. Taking a quiet moment to try something new in a small, friendly group can bring a real sense of peace and community. 🖌️👨🎨
Partnerships are vital to our services at HopeWorks - making sure we can get the right help to those who need it, at the right time.
This food was shared with us by a local foodbank - they had more than they needed, so they sent it our way, knowing it would go to people in need.
A group of our Pathways participants recently had a festive trip to the cinema together. Outings like these offer clients a chance to relax, have fun, and build friendships. These happy moments are instrumental in building a sense of trust, community, and hope in the future. 📽️
Every other Wednesday, our team come together to share both challenges and successes, reflect on shared goals, and plan for the future.

Did you know we run a creche?
The HopeWorks creche runs 5 days a week alongside our English Language Services. This enables parents of young children to attend lessons without having to worry about childcare 🧸🪁
