Why must confession be in place of worship? It is so personal & private. It must be done at psychological level through inner dialogue with God. Does also imply that the culprit will confess to God later for sexually abusing women in church and then absolve himself from it?

I had applied for renewal (4th time) to A'bad office. There is nothing till date. No response to my mails & phones. On personal inquiry, I was told they are inquiring from Botswana High commission where I had worked for 8 years. High commission denied when I asked them.
