I almost gave up but remembered Allah's promise not to burden beyond what we can handle. With His help, I graduated with a Second Class Upper Degree in B.A. Yorùbá Language.

Alhamdulillah! I don't regret pursuing this course, despite the challenges. From struggling with àmì (tone marks) in part 1 to online classes in part 3, Allah's tutorials sustained me.

Seeing my CAPS change to "admitted" for Yorùbá language in 2018, I decided not to wait another year. I approached my mentor, expecting skepticism, but he encouraged me, highlighting the opportunities ahead.

People always assumed I chose Yoruba. When they meet me on campus and ask about my course, and I say Yorùbá, they wonder why I chose it. I respond, "No, I didn't choose; it was assigned to me." Pewwnn (cue flashback sound from Yorùbá movies) 😂😂
