Dr. Bromley was a great professor, mentor, colleague, and friend. His commitment to campus policing and crime prevention guided his very successful career. He made an impact on so many lives and will be remembered as a kind, thoughtful, intelligent and fun person to be around.

@sfranklincrim Department culture is super important! Choose a place where you feel like you can connect with professors and students. You will spend a lot of time with those people and will go through a lot of big life events while there, a supportive network is essential!
Don’t take journal rejections personally.
A rejection doesn’t guarantee that your paper is bad.
There are even Nobel prize winning papers that were rejected.💪
