Backrooms (movie and series) will always mean so much to me bc it makes me feel seen. For example in this one. Kane perfectly captures the feeling of terror and isolation that someone who's struggling with mental illness experiences when asking for help.
Clark is such a well written villain. It's established that he's always been a bad person, that he refuses to take accountability and change, and then discovering the Complex makes him spiral faster, and have a complete psychotic break, embracing his psychopathy.
> be me (ethical altruist)
> work in an animal lab
> lab buys alive crickets
> someone opens fridge -> crickets escape
> joke to bf "if there's one @ our home tell me"
(next day)
> hear bf get scared
> CRICKETINMYHOUSE
> can't release, but killing..?
> nope
> say hi to bob..
also our social culture is matriarchal but the entire system is somehow a misogynist patriarchy. Its a mix. Its our PRECOLONIAL culture surviving still clashing with the forced colonial identity given to us by our oppressors. I suggest we turn gay and make women fully rule ✨😆
