@Rainmaker1973 This was animated by hand, without AI.

[Kai Kostack @KaiKostack]

@akareyon @RichardGage_911 @KevinRyan911 @ic911justice Whose intention was evolution?

The WTC simulation is by far the most complex one I've ever done. Larger simulations take longer to do an iteration. Other smaller projects have taken months to complete, and this one took a few years. It's all within the bounds of what's expected.

[Kai Kostack @KaiKostack]

@akareyon @RichardGage_911 @KevinRyan911 @ic911justice You are making a classic fallacy. According to your logic, a human should not be able to walk just because it is extremely difficult to build a machine that cannot walk just as perfectly.

Physics simulations are simply difficult.

[Kai Kostack @KaiKostack]

@akareyon @RichardGage_911 @KevinRyan911 @ic911justice Difficulties in simulating the WTC collapse don't prove it couldn't happen in reality. They highlight the event's complexity, with many factors like material fatigue and heat effects. Simulations help us understand complexity, not rewrite history.

@davegreenidge57 Remarkable building. I once made a structural simulation of it.

Taiwan was struck by its strongest earthquake in 25 years few minutes ago when a 7.4 magnitude tremor struck the island's eastern coast, prompting tsunami warnings across the region.

A rooftop swimming pool during the Taiwan earthquake.

[Dr. Susan Hough @SeismoSue]

Imagine a tooth breaks off of a gear that keeps turning slowly. That's kinda sorta the Philippine Sea Plate. The island of Taiwan is kinda sort the flotsam and jetsam in this complex zone and thus, sadly, earthquake-prone.
