@KagutaMuseveni Mzei enshonga ya travel bans and advisories nimugigambahoki? The bazukulu in tourism cross boarder trade are suffocating!! Other countries that boarder Congo 🇨🇩 are operating freely.
No better words. Stand up #America and show us the universal #freedom you preach to the world! Stand up @FIFAcom and show us the uniting power of this sport! @FIFAWorldCup
Dear, @FIFAcom
Please stand with Omar Artan and support fairness, equality, and the spirit of football. We don’t want a World Cup full of chaos. Denying Abdulkadir the opportunity to perform his duties at the World’s biggest tournament after earning his place through years of hard work and dedication is deeply disappointing and unfair.
This is not just about one referee; it is about the principles of equality, respect, and fair treatment that football claims to represent. Millions of people around the world are watching and expecting justice.
FIFA must take immediate action, stand by it’s official, and ensure that no one is excluded from the game because of where they come from. Football should unite people, not divide them.
@DrTedros@KagutaMuseveni Please tell the world 🌎 what you have witnessed in #Uganda and the #Ebola situation here. We're suffocating with unnecessary #travel#advisories and bans because of poor and false reporting. You're creating a lot of suspicion and mistrust!!
A MUST READ
LIFE vs WEALTH
Is wealth in conflict with life?
Heard about poverty, ignorance and disease?
What actually improves health?
1- good housing, 2 - good education and 3- nutrition.
Good health is actually made at home and only repaired in hospitals if it breaks down, right?
A strong economy is created by strong and successful critical number of businesses which don’t only provide jobs but pay taxes, buy health insurance for worker etc.
Emotions don’t improve health, never!
So, what do you protect first?
Protect source of wealth at all costs because the wealth will give you good housing, good nutrition and education!
Ugandas biggest killer is Malaria with 13m people getting it annually and 16k dying of it and it’s largely poverty related!
If we cared about life, we would fight poverty as number enemy through protecting enterprises!
Today one person gets sick in a family and impoverishes the whole family, their quality of housing is affected, education interrupted, nutrition goes down and health for them dives in danger.
The highest amount of money requests I get and many of you too is money for hospital bills. It’s overwhelming because wealth is affected when enterprises are in danger like now.
70% of tourism bookings gone, those are 75% earning opportunities gone, Ugandans chasing for opportunities in the US , CANADA, Mexico etc can’t access those opportunities. Trade hasn’t been spared either!
Countries that have their citizens with freedom of movement will out do those who citizens don’t have the same. It’s top end trade barrier! You either beg or borrow to survive!
Some people say, Wekesa, you only care about money and not life , Ofcourse those statements are born out of relative ignorance clearly!
An enterprise if successful, if opportunities aren’t interfered with all the time through mismanagement of information like the case in uganda, the enterprise provides jobs, buys insurance for its employees, supports many other businesses called service providers who also do the same.
Many businesses are born out of other thriving businesses, when a business dies, opportunities die as well. A big hotel like Serena will support close to 300 other businesses.
Those employed in enterprises are able to improve their housing, improve their education and nutrition hence less challenges with health related challenges at the end of the day!
Why won’t America, Canada and Mexico talk about hantavirus now? They are positioned to earn billions from World Cup which will help them fight hantavirus at the end of the day!
We shall also go and beg ushs 90bn to sort out our own health issues because we have chased away earning opportunities.
UWA – Ishasha
We are privileged to share the exciting news of a newborn lion cub in Ishasha. We sighted the cub today in good health while it was feeding alongside the pride on a fresh kill.
This is a wonderful sight and a positive sign for the continued conservation of lions in the Ishasha sector. We look forward to watching this young cub grow and thrive in the wild.
#ConservingForGenerations
@DrTedros Thank you for this update. While it is unfortunately for our brothers and sisters in #DRC, Truthful and consistent reporting should be emphasised. #Uganda's economy and Ugandans at large are severely being inconvenienced due to false reporting and lumping up Uganda & Congo!
@declanstar1 You know someone who's never been on a football pitch from such misguided, engagement farming posts!!! The day you'll learn to differentiate footballing boots from factory gumboots, you will know how small today's shin guards are!!
@Buntu_Bokweni@piersmorgan@piersmorgan knows damn well what he's doing. A lot of English football is played in the media and he's used to that. But hey, this is Champions league. Cry on!!!
@Mr_SamFCB I suppose this guy had his plans A to C aligned. And then the other one decided to run 1st time compilation during presentation and guess what? The whole project was bugged!!!! Well in Parisans
