my dad once told me:
“money is just numbers and numbers are infinite, if it takes money to be happy, your search for happiness will never end.”
still hits deep for me
sunday is the most weird day of the week because everytime you have to decide if you're gonna be lazy, productive or social
no matter which one you choose you will always feel like you made the wrong decision
the evolution of generations gotta be studied
- 1996: don't get in cars with strangers
- 2006: don't meet with people from the internet
- 2026: order yourself a stranger off the internet to get into a car
our generations have different priorities:
- baby boomers: work hard, stay loyal
- gen X: trust no one, figure it out yourself
- millennials: find purpose, break the 9-5 cycle
- gen Z: question everything, mental health over hustle
- gen alpha: born digital, raised online with AI
it is not your fault
no one really prepares you for your 20s and early 30s
one minute you are vibing, the next you're questioning your entire existence
you lose friends
you change careers
you outgrow yourself
if you're feeling lost now, you're not broken, you are in the middle of figuring it out
