@ABDanielleSmith Part 6. @ABDanielleSmith I am registered with mental disabilities from a severe closed head traumatic brain injury assault by gang initiates in 2006 while on vacation, my income and patience is limited, the assault in kelowna liquid zoo lounge was never resolved just so you know.
@ABDanielleSmith Part 5. @ABDanielleSmith Please instruct EMS to disclose to patients that they will be financially responsible for the ambulance ride PRIOR to leaving in one!!! That is a fair and just request form the public!
The bill was a shock especially since it was not disclosed by the EMT.
@ABDanielleSmith Part 4. @ABDanielleSmith I was released by the Neuro unit 58 for GBS, I got notified of $770.00 in bills Ambulance rides to the ER because, If I would have known I was going to be billed for ER ambulance rides I would have taken a cab to save money!!! Durring a medical layoff !!!
@ABDanielleSmith Part 3. @ABDanielleSmith Have a medical leave from my employment because of nerve damage from the GBS to the Myelin insulation for nerves in my arms and legs, before taking the ambulance I was not told that I would be required to pay for the ambulance rides to the ER by EMS!!!
@ABDanielleSmith Part 2. @ABDanielleSmith After the 4th ER I went to in one week I was admitted to the Rocky View Hospital and was treated well had a spinal tap which proved the GBS and then was transferred to the Calgary South Campus Hospital for IGIV infusion treatment over a 4 day period.
@ABDanielleSmith Part 1. @ABDanielleSmith Recently I got salmonella food poisoning and Guillain Barre Syndrome, made 5 trips to the ER until GBS was finally detected, my feet and hands went numb I worked 1 week like that then the numbness traveled up to my knees and elbows GBS can be fatal..
