Be Capitology:
> Unretires (because gets rejected on job offer)
> Take $800 DSG Contract
> Spend more time on a plane than in Korea 😭
> Reverse-Swept against worst EU Team (saying he'd beat them)
Job mogged, drip mogged, coach mogged... it's so over bros 🥀
Unironically the most W decision ever
- Less time queueing ranked (which is miserable)
- The time that you stream *actually* has a purpose (so its more fulfilling)
- You get to be more creative by focusing on making banger YT content
More streamers should take note
Got quite a few questions about this, so I'll announce it here as well.
I'm planning to focus on youtube till the end of the year. Really wanna make more banger videos, I think that's what I'm best at. So there'll be more videos coming up, but unfortunately less streams.
Once the year ends, I'll see what's the best move next. For now, I won't stop streaming, it'll just be quite a bit less than it was. Full announcement in the screenshot if you wanna read it. Love you guys ❤️
@bingenjiOCE dmon being broken for 2 months carries less statistical significance because how do we know if she's going to be broken for 4 years (like kiriko) or if this 2 month stint is just going to be a small blip in 4 years time
@bingenjiOCE tracer has been out for 10+ years, kiri for 4 years, meanwhile dmon has been out for just over 2 months. respectfully, i shouldn't have to be pointing this out.
1. A layperson can very obviously and visually SEE a bad bridge being built but a casual fan can't very obviously or visually see bad coaching (because coaching happens behind closed doors!)
2. There is a categorical difference between coaching and bridge building I.E. It is easy to evaluate that a bridge is badly built, but it is much harder to evaluate whether coaching is bad because in order to do so, you need enough knowledge of the game (and how to coach in general) to make such a claim.
3. You're assuming 1 engineer but teams obviously have more than 1 person. This distributes responsibility hence it is short sighted to just point the fingers at the coaching staff
4. There are a million confounding factors that can affect player performance outside of coaching. I.E. You cannot draw an easy cause and effect relationship between "bad coach therefore bad team." A player has their own thoughts, decisions, minds, beliefs, habits, etc. A bridge does not. Therefore "bad engineer therefore bad bridge" is more reasonable than "bad coach therefore bad team."
For reference, I have made my own critiques of DSG and Cap even said that most of my commentary is reasonable. This isn't giving the coaches a free pass, it's actually making level-headed criticisms
