love is important, but love alone doesn’t carry a relationship. you need consistency, patience, respect, honesty, communication, forgiveness, and two people who are willing to keep showing up. you need reciprocity instead of one person constantly pouring while the other only receives. you need the willingness to have difficult conversations and the maturity to know when something deserves another chance and when it needs to end. relationships become some of our most meaningful memories because they give us people to experience life with. so yes, love matters enormously. just remember that loving someone is the beginning of the work, not the end of it.
