I live downtown, hundreds of feet from the city hall and federal buildings and what’s jumping out to me most about all the protest is how small these groups are. One would think being in a majority Latino city the response to ICE would be at the very least what we saw here in 2020, 1992 and 1965. I was expecting to see thousands but each time it’s a few hundred people, no more than 1000 if I’m being generous.

Someone said to me yesterday “We can’t care more than the people it directly affects!”
