I did an experiment on August 1st to see how long it would take me to land a job.
128 custom applications, 12 company outreaches , 5 final interviews, & 3 job offers as of today.
Literally none from Linked1n, Ind33d, or referral smh
Maybe Iโm wrong but I think a government that demands accountability for how you spend YOUR money, but refuses to account for how it spends YOUR money, should be immediately replaced.
Dear @WOOLWORTHS_SA
This product was recently R92, then it was R103 & it is now R109.
Why??!! You continually raise prices by a Rand or two. Why?!!
And do NOT ask me to DM you with my details. Answer the general public right here!
I still have trauma from that big red bank.๐๐๏ธ
They received over 700 applications for only 13 positions, and there were 5/6 rounds. I made it to the last round, only to get rejected.๐ After that, I took 2 months off from applying for jobs.๐ญ
@Nithya_Shrii Good managers donโt fear strong employees.
They fear losing control.
Weak leaders build teams they can dominate.
Strong leaders build people who can eventually outperform them.
Jacinta wants to build a powerful Black civic organisation. So where does she look for a successful model in South Africa? AfriForum, obviously.
AfriForum built an ecosystem around fundraising, membership, legal action, community projects and advocacy, with the explicit goal of advancing Afrikaner interests. Thatโs why it has influence far beyond what its numbers might suggest.
There is no comparable Black civic organisation operating at that scale and with that level of institutional discipline. Our political parties dominate the space, so when someone tries to build an independent Black organisation outside party politics, they suddenly become uncomfortable.
Maybe the real question isnโt why Jacinta is trying to build one. Itโs why we never built one ourselves.
Ladies and gentlemen of South Africa, letโs meet at Helen Joseph hospital tomorrow morning. Im telling you now, that Nigerian doctor is not a real doctor ๐ค๐ฝ
A stolen iPhone taken from a woman at gunpoint in Soweto was tracked to Johannesburg CBD. When they arrived, they found a Zimbabwean man in possession of several other stolen iPhones.
it's HIGHLY important that we remember that it wasn't the CEOs and billionaires who saved us during COVID-19. It was the janitors, nurses, cleaning crews, grocery and food workers with their hard, often invisible labor.
Yesterday we got to learn of a series of documentaries partnered with research that Afriforum has conducted on the issue of our borders dating back to 4 years ago! This is one of them and this is just a snippet of it but I would encourage you guys to watch it as it paints a scary picture of how the Zimbabwean government and officials assist illegal crossings and items to come in and out of South Africa with absolutely no fear or shame!!!
