I was at the first Dodgers series in the Rock Pile.

Then was at Game 3 in the rain of the NLCS against the D-Backs.

Rocktober was awesome, great memories from that season!

In September 2007, the Rockies were buried in the standings with two weeks to go.

We won 13 of our last 14 regular season games.

Forced a Game 163. Won it on a play at the plate in extra innings that people still argue about.

Then swept the Phillies in the NLDS. Swept the Diamondbacks in the NLCS. Went to the World Series.

By the time we got there, we'd won 21 of our last 22 games.

Nobody in Colorado would have written that story before the season started. Me included.

But there were fingerprints all over it...ownership, the front office, the players, the coaches. Nobody cared who got the credit.

We just kept not going away.

Man can't write what sport can create.
