How do you select a "Panel" that must recommend the Chief Justice? Why isn't the public voting who they want in the panel? These are people who have their own views and preferences isn't it?
This panel, they account to who? Isn't there a Justice portfolio in parliament?🤔
Public participation to nominate the next CJ is not in the Constitution but you can get away with that because you'll say the CJ must be choosen by citizens
BUT; the appointment of a panel is UNCONSTITUTIONAL. The process is clear, the JSC is the ONLY body that deals with such
Two years ago a man, a father, was unemployed and suicidal. Instead of getting him a job, Eusebius and co got him therapy
Black men are said to be violent. Instead of resolving the issues—poverty and social exclusion—they want to bore us to death about how we must "do better"
@NdlovuPowen The same way a failed, sulking student would peer-review her successful colleague. It’s a messed-up situation. Thuli is utterly discredited and compromised to sit on any panel, not to mention a panel to select a Chief Justice!
You survived through SASSA, NSFAS took you to university. Now that u can afford yourself, u rebuke those that can't, for always demanding free things.
SA is the most unequal society, instead of addressing it, economic growth worsens it. GDP is not the best measure of well being.
We as UNISA students would like to be be treated fairly and be given a chance to work on a recent youth program. When there are job opportunities we are treated like other varsity students but when it comes to NSFAS we are given R290 monthly allowance.
