LIQUIDITY — WHAT DOES IT ACTUALLY MEAN?

You probably have heard traders say "Price is going for liquidity.”
But what exactly is liquidity? In simple terms, liquidity is the availability of orders in the market that allows buying and selling to take place. As traders, we’re particularly interested in areas where a lot of orders are likely clustered. such areas on liquidity heatmaps, you'll likely see volumes of Liquidity.

For example: Stops above obvious highs, Stops below obvious lows, Equal highs/lows, Previous swing highs/lows, and Obvious breakout levels.

These price areas matter because when price reaches an area containing a significant amount of orders, there is enough liquidity for larger transactions to be executed more efficiently.
That’s why certain highs and lows become important.
But A liquidity level is not a guaranteed target when trading, and a sweep of liquidity does not automatically mean reversal. The real skill is understanding what price does when it reaches that liquidity. That’s where liquidity becomes useful.
