“Mt Kenya is 50 years ahead” is a lazy excuse for poor governance elsewhere. If your argument is that other regions deserve better roads, schools and hospitals, then demand accountability from the leaders who have represented those regions for decades. Don’t turn another region’s development into a crime. Fix your region instead of resenting someone else’s progress.

When we say Mt Kenya privilege exists because of government goodwill as we beg for equitable development, please travel around the country and look at the state of infrastructure from roads to schools on other parts of the country. Central is developmentally at least 50 years ahead of most regions in Kenya.
