@StanCollymore Even with 48 teams the tournament feels overbloated. I guess with 64 it would eliminate the 3rd place qualifying system which might make it more exciting. Any more than that will really just turn people off and make it boring like the early stages of the UCL.
@Score90_ Just shows you how dodgy things are. The 2022 World Cup and this one has been heavily rigged in his favour. Just look at how many penalties he got in the previous 4 World Cups vs this one and the last one.
@_WokeNonsenseFC The beauty of football before FIFA corruption was that victories were earned and not handed to them because they are a big team. If Morroco, Norway and Switzerland make it to the final, then they would of deserved it.
@SkySportsNews The ref was far too bias. Egypt did so well to score 2 perfect goals which the refs couldn't find anyway to disallow them but it always felt the refs would find one way or another to make sure Argentina came back. The whole thing is rigged for them.
If VAR had gone any further back in that Egyptian move Tutankhamun would be involved. How far do you go back? Probably right decision but what a pity, what a goal that would have been. 80 yards, majestic move, precise passing, would have been one of the goals of the tournament,
@Kasparov63 Pure corruption. They can't even be bothered to hide it now. A penalty a game and dodgy VAR decisions to help them whenever required. Another tainted World Cup for Argentina.
@Castro1021 It was at the other end of the pitch and it took ages before they actually scored. How can they call it all the way back to that phase of play? It is ridiculous.
@FabrizioRomano Disgusting refereeing again in favour of Argentina. This level of corruption is destroying the game. I feel sorry for Egypt, they played really well today.
The level of corruption in this World Cup and the last World Cup is just sickening. I've never seen a team so favoured by FIFA and the refs like Argentina. A penalty in nearly every game and goals against them ruled out constantly. This is just a joke.
@AbsoluteBruno Zero urgency and drive throughout the whole world cup. It was embarrassing and baffling that a midfield like that performed so bad. This is down to the manager.
@JamesTactics Poor take. Clearly Portugal were overrated and Vintinha and Neves benefit with having World Class players at PSG around them. Players like Pedro Neto, Cancelo and Bernardo Silva are clearly not good enough these days. Bruno needs players that are willing to run into spaces.
@FPLGOAT7 For me he is the best ever, simply because of what he has achieved through his hard work. He never had things handed to him on a silver platter like Messi. Even Messi's own height was given to him through sponsored injections. Ronaldo had to fight for everything.
@AdamJoseph It's sad how it ended. He had so much potential and now just wasted it. A few years down the line he'll look back on this and realize that he made a mistake.
