In its continual efforts to deliver on its mandate, the consultancy firm engaged by the Kano NEWMAP for the RAP&LNA of its affected communities, visited yet another community (Fajewa) in Takai LAG of Kano State

Kano-NEWMAP theŕefore bowed to rehabilitate the Yan-sabo earth dam which serve as the major source of domestic Water supply, fishing, irrigation and recreation to communities in the area.

The famous Yan-sabo earth dam in Tofa LGA of Kano State that had been improving livelihoods of several communities around it over the years. Unfortunately, severe erosion bedevilled its embankment and it eventually collapsed!

Arrangements are on top gear for the construction of Water conservation structures and provision of minor irrigation facilities across the Kano-NEWMAP participating communities, as the consultancy firm engaged by the project to conduct ESMP commenced implementation
