Life is fucking electric bro. Don’t fall for the doomer shit. That’s for losers and normies scared of their own shadows. Walk around like God sent you and smile at everyone you see. Spread light and abundance. Build things and take chances. This is the best time in history!
9 times out of 10 you already know what you need to do. It just sucks.
But rather than endure that discomfort - we convince ourselves there’s something else worth doing when there isn't.
There's a great quote from The Iliad...
Its in book XII (I think)... and Sarpedon is talking to Glaukos... and says something like:
"...if you and I could escape this battle... and live forever... ageless... immortal.... then neither would I- nor would I urge you- to go fighting... down in the foremost, down where men win glory.
However... since death is omnipresent, and is unavoidable anyway... let us go on and join the battle... and either win that glory for ourselves, or else give someone else the chance to earn it..."
I basically read it as him saying 'hey, if we are going to die anyway, let's at least try to go out with a bang and do it in an honorable manner...'
And I think it is such a salient point for so many different parts of life...
That often you don't really have a choice anyway... so you might as well just do your best....
A specific area that I think exemplifies this is the body and fitness generally...
We are all stuck in these corporeal bodies or 'mortal coils'... and we have to feed them and clean them and maintain them... and just *inhabit them*... whether we like it or not...
As a result, it is EXTREMELY worth the time and energy to learn how to properly take care of one's body and make it as healthy and aesthetically pleasing as possible, because you literally have to spend every single minute of your life living inside of it...
Marriage is another one... where people's lack of intentionality just boggles the mind sometimes...
When you marry someone you are quite literally allocating tens of thousands of future hours of mental bandwith into them (to put it lightly)...
So its highly advisable not to just marry the first random girl off the dating app that gives you the time of day...
If you're going to do something as monumental as marriage... then ideally try to a) find the right person, and b) go about it the right way that maximizes the chances it will succeed (for your own sake and the sake of your spouse and especially ya'll's kids)...
And the same question of intentionality applies to crypto too I think...
This is an important point because I think its easy to get into crypto and then CT and just kind of end up reactive and before you know it you've invested 4000 hours of mental bandwith into a single memecoin with nothing to show for it...
I don't think that means we all need to just purely focus on fancy hyper-earnest stuff either, but the point is we are each individually only going to have one single 'crypto arc' during this period of late-stage fiat boomerdom's demise... so as a result you might as well approach that 'crypto arc' in a purposeful manner...
Anyway those are my random Sunday ramblings friends... gm 🤝
so basically
> guy reported fake news (that was actually real news)
> all of world finance aped the news and added 2.5T to the market
> news reported as fake, so everyone dumped
> japanese bank blows up
> DJT reports the previously fake news again, but this time as real news
> all of world finance is sidelined and apes the news and added 4T to the market in an hour
so basically finance is just memecoins with suits
Girlfriend just texted me that her favorite coffee shop was closed and I simply reply aww no instead of telling her im down 20 years of living expenses in the last hour
I preferred when crypto was mostly anarchists and autists who genuinely believed in a shared vision that didn’t include slop posting tourists and soulless suits
If you're young, taking fucking advantage of it. You have nothing to lose. No bills. No family. No real obligations. You can take risk after risk after risk, fail miserably every time, and still be better off than most people. If we get a 2021-easy mode market again, you need to be locked in. Use this Christmas to sharpen your 2025 plan, so that you're ready for the (potentially) wildest gains of your life.
A wise man once said: "You should be sacrificing your weekends to give everything you have to harvest all possible yield out of this market".
