@BTCMilk Speculation is just a side effect of having a financial system that can touch light speed.

The participants in the system around these vehicles can just as easily participate in different verticals.

The largest obstacle for web3 right now is ethos.

Pre-regulation, this industry had inspiring ideas for what decentralized and distributed systems could enable for us.

Not all of these panned out, but many were/are incredible improvements for finance.

Combined with brain-rot and AI slop, raw innovation and excitement has dwindled.

The industry needs to get back to the roots that inspire communities to rally around what could be.
