Today, PM Narendra Modi gifted Parle company’s Melody toffee to Italy’s PM Giorgia Meloni.

After that, many people started buying shares thinking they were investing in the Parle Melody company, but instead they bought shares of Parle Industries, which is actually a waste management company.

Parle Industries’ stock had already fallen around 35% in the last 3 months. The company’s shares were continuously declining.

But the moment Modi gifted Melody toffee to Meloni, Parle Industries’ stock suddenly hit the upper circuit and jumped nearly 5%.

The real Parle Melody company is not even listed on the stock market - it is a private company.

This is the power of PM Modi.
Just because he gifted Melody toffee, even the shares of a completely different company hit the upper circuit. 😂🔥

A lovely way to describe my love for Oct/Nov rains of Bangalore that always coincide with my yearly holidays to the city.

My favourite rain, though, happens in October. Sometimes in November. The monsoon is long over. The sun is overhead again. Bangalore's second
summer is upon us. After the initial relief of seeing the sun, the October heat is unbearable. It's the only month Bangalore's light becomes harsh.

Then, during or after Diwali, a gentler rain arrives. It's colder than the monsoon rain. Slighter. A caress rather than a push. It doesn't demand attention like the drama queen of May. Instead, it falls quietly in the background and makes everything more pleasant. Only when you pay attention you realise it has lowered the temperature, cleared the dust from the air, improved the quality of light and uplifted your mood.

October rain heralds the arrival of winter: when the skies finally clear the sun won't be so harsh and the air will smell sweet. But you will miss it because the city will be dry for the next six months. October rain is the parting gift of the monsoon that will sustain you till the following May.

The soft October rain is a 10/10 rain. And i will miss it very much.
