The Ontario Govt. plans to amend the OINP to increase eligibility for international students. The proposed legislation focuses on revising requirements for those in one-year college graduate certificate programs. The changes, possibly will be implemented early next year.

Canada's Immigration Minister, Marc Miller, announced plans to strengthen the Intl. Student Program. From Dec 1, 2023, institutions must confirm each applicant's acceptance directly with IRCC, preventing acceptance letter fraud & ensuring SPs are issued based on genuine letters.

@CitImmCanada My client came to Canada when he was 17 yrs old and now he is 20 yrs old. Does he need a PCC from his country of citizenship even though he has not lived in his home country for 6 months or more after turning 18??
