14 years ago I came to @UTSWMedCenter as a medical student and today had the privilege of giving @UTSWInternalMed Grand Rounds. Kind of surreal giving a lecture to so many faculty that educated me at one point or another on a topic that I’ve been working on for the past 3+ years.

On vacation and enjoying some historical fiction. A good reminder that I should read for fun even when I don't have a break from work.
#Livertransplant survivor's recovery linked to #sociodemographic factors. @utswcancer's liver disease expert Sarah R. Lieber, M.D., explores how tailored interventions can optimize clinical and patient-centered outcomes among these patients. https://t.co/jimnJ35djx #utswresearch
As the new academic year approaches, we have several new leadership announcements this week 📢 @LauraHinkle18, long-time Hoosier and outstanding mentor, will be taking over as our new PD! First female PD in IU PCCM history. Please help us congratulate, Dr. Hinkle! 👏
Shameless plug for @UTSWGI to show my appreciation of their support in 3rd space endo. In addition to having me join cases w/ our current 3rd space faculty, last week we held our 2nd live pig lab of 2023. My ‘pt’ did great through 3 gastric ESDs, 2 esophageal ESDs, and a Z-POEM😃
I don't usually watch the Oscars, but I am quite moved by Michelle Yeoh's Best Actress acceptance speech! Worth watching to brighten your Monday.

My patient got an altruistic living donor LT! The world is so crazy right now but imagine there are people out their who would give a body part to someone they don’t even know. That gives me great joy and hope.
It has been an absolute privilege to work with @anouti_ahmad An amazing researcher, clinician, patient advocate and person
His amazing journey is a must read for anyone involved in medicine. Helps remind us why we do this work, be it research or clinical
