I was impressed with progress on muscle stem cell and ageing #ISCCR2019 and the wish to develop drugs to revert back symptoms. But was disappointed with the lack of association with physical activity and nutrition. Surly it plays a big role in muscle stem cell activation.

Great session on muscle stem cells and ageing ISSCR2019. Sub populations of satellite cells react to cytokines, chemokines, and prostaglandins differently with age even though molecularly similar. Cd34, PGE2, Ccr2 all play a role.
