Charles is a senior evaluator for the TCC Group. He is often referred to as The Evaluation Evangelist & enjoys engaging people, organizations & communities.
Friends, I'm very excited to join Lotus Rise. While I'm still an active evaluator, I've seen too many social sector organizations struggle and collaborations fail due to a lack of needed tech and a space to really collaborate. Lotus Rise is intended to address these issues.
Charles Gasper's 30 years of experience in the nonprofit space and his unique take on the importance of intertwining innovation and collaboration make him an invaluable addition to the leadership team. Welcome on board, @KarcsiG.

Gaming can affect positive change for people, not just in the direct experience, but also through a group. “I walked into the room & could see people like me for the first time.” - Blake Hunt, E-Sports Quad God #g4c2024@TCCGROUP
Incidentally - for my non-gamer friends, RPGs are roll playing games. Discussion in this session is building healthy & safe groups. Creating communities that can do amazing things in support of each other with establishment of safety rules. #G4C2024@TCCGROUP
Games help a person or group address an issue or escape from it. Challenge is to discover what a player wants to do. Great examples finding the right game & understand stories players want to create to fit need. Great panel on tabletop RPGs build/support. #G4C2024@TCCGROUP
Ava Volandes of Mojang Studios highlights the power of not only using games as a tie for fundraising, but the importance of connecting with other entities focused on positive impact to affect and demonstrate change. @G4C@TCCGROUP#g4c2024
Deborah Mensa-Bonsu - talking about tweaking established games to include impact messaging in the Green Jam. To reach players at scale, it is possible to adjust a game versus creating new games. @G4C#gamingforimpact@TCCGROUP
Let’s play to learn how approachable evaluation of games’ impact can be. Join us tomorrow in 502/503 - we’ll play as we explore the opportunities and help, evaluation can provide to capture & assess effects on players and larger communities. @G4C@TCCGROUP#g4c2024
Excited to be at @G4C Games for Change. Looking to learn more about how developers of games & VX are building games to effect positive change. Follow along as I enjoy this journey over the next two days. @TCCGROUP#g4c2024
Thinking of a new metric for conference success…. The cell phone camera shot count… the number of pictures taken of a presentation’s slides. By this metric, Kathleen O’Connor’s session is very well received! #Eval23@TCCGROUP
