Elderly man assisted by his son walks into the lab, appears to be in pain etc. CBC result reveals a crazy derangement in total Wbc, Rbc and platelets counts with 84% lymphocytes. The importance of PBF can never be overemphasized when it comes to CBC. It gives a clearer insight.
