Think about this one logically for a sec. Dude on doorstep pulls on door handle rings doorbell. Is shoot the first thing you would do? Not unless you were scared right? Not unless you made assumptions about him based on his appearance right? Black men for the better part of 100 years have been shown on the news inordinately as the perpetrators of violent crimes. Was the man racist, probably to some extent whether he fully realized it or not is another question. We are shaped by that which we are exposed to. Unfortunately most of America has been exposed to systemic racism everything from who would represent criminals on tv shows, to who shows up on your TV screen. You know who the real enemy is though? The ultra wealthy and powerful white people who rigged the system to be this way in the first place. To encourage us to fear one another and ignore the true villain. Greedy, Powerful, Rich, Elite Scumbags.
