simple way to think about llm durability:

the model layer likely only has pricing power at the absolute frontier, the infra/tooling middle gets eaten from both sides, so value pools at whoever owns intent + refreshing context which is roughly the application layer.

i am not the first to say this obviously but this seems directionally true.
