• More than 50,000 Starlink terminals are operating across Ukraine today.

• Ukraine became the first country in Europe to deploy Starlink direct-to-cell services, allowing ordinary smartphones to connect directly to satellites.

• SpaceX says the EU proposal prioritizes where a company is incorporated instead of technical performance, economics, and consumer benefit.

• Reports indicate some EU officials specifically wanted to curb Starlink’s expansion in Europe.

• FCC Chairman Brendan Carr warned the U.S. could take reciprocal action if Europe discriminates against providers like Starlink.
