다들 행복한 추석 연휴 즐기고 계신지요.

연휴기간 중 시간 여유가 있어서 @vooi_io에 대해서 스터디를 좀 해보고 있어요
Vooi를 검색해보니 ‘중앙화 거래소 수준의 사용자 경험을 탈중앙화 금융(DeFi)에서 누릴 수 있게 해주는 비수탁형(non-custodial)거래 터미널’입니다.’ 요렇게 나오더라구요.

첫줄 부터 ‘비수탁형 거래’라는 용어가 뭘 말하는거지..하고 턱 막히더라구요? (전 금융용어가 너무 어려워요 .. 그래서 돈을 못버나 ㅠㅠ)
그래서 수탁형/비수탁형 거래가 뭔지 간단히 조사를 해봤어요. (무식한 저를 반성하며 ㅠㅠ)

📌 수탁형(Custodial) 거래
중앙화 거래소(CEX) 같은 곳에서 이루어지는 거래 방식.
사용자가 자산을 거래소 지갑에 “맡기면”, 거래소가 대신 보관하고 거래를 처리해요.
이 경우 거래소가 내 자산의 키(private key) 를 가지고 있어요.
장점: 편리하고 빠름.
단점: 거래소 해킹, 파산, 출금 제한 같은 리스크가 있음.

📌 비수탁형(Non-custodial) 거래
내 지갑(메타마스크, 카이카스, 팬텀 등)에 있는 자산을 그대로 두고 내 지갑에서 직접 거래하는 방식.
플랫폼(예: VOOI)은 단순히 DEX(탈중앙 거래소) 나 프로토콜과 연결해주는 인터페이스 역할만 ��요.
따라서 자산의 키는 전적으로 내가 소유 → 플랫폼은 내 돈을 절대 건드릴 수 없음.
장점: 자산 통제권 100% 유지, 탈중앙적이고 안전성 ↑
단점: 가스비, 지갑 연결, 서명 같은 과정이 필요해 초보자에겐 조금 번거로움.
