There’s actually a chance the president could be elected by the popular vote in 2028 instead of the fundamentally undemocratic Electoral College.
Watch:
A Supreme Court so fundamentally hostile to the rights of minority voters places the Court at odds with democracy itself.
This is the legacy of Chief Justice John Roberts.
I opposed his nomination back in 2005, and I stand by that.
Illinois vs. UConn Final Four line opened at -1.5 and moved to -2.5. Makinen's metrics suggest Illinois should be at least a -3.5 favorite. Since 2015, bettors moving lines in Final Four games have gone 13-1 SU and 9-5 ATS.
@thescorechicago That's why we got the 3 seed. We can't complain. Remember 2005? 2nd round in Rosemont. Now Florida gone. We have ONE tough game to get to Final 4. It's a deal.
Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show was packed with cultural symbols, including the light blue Puerto Rican flag often associated with pro-independence movements.
We unpack the story of Puerto Rico, filled with U.S. imperialism and exploitation.
A few bookmakers felt like Super Bowl 60 betting was a little soft. Nevada statewide numbers bear that out.
Super Bowl handle was $133.8 million, well off 2025's $151.6 million and miles behind 2024's state record $190 million.
In fact, Super Bowl 60 had the lowest handle of the last 10 years.
Nevada sportsbooks won $9.9 million, 7.4%, on the Seahawks' 29-13 victory over the Patriots.
EVERY Sportsbook should be dealing an attractive Spread of no more than .30 on the Moneyline on a game like the SBowl
@Circasports gets a good grade right now.
Sea -220/N Eng +190
Ditto MGM -225/+195
EVERY other Vegas book is dealing at least a 40 cent straddle. TOO HIGH
FIX IT PLEASE!
TY
Ps. I would deal -220/+200.........
@EstablishTheRun@adamlevitan@evansilva There is too much public money involved in the Superbowl to analyze line movements in the same way you do in the regular season.
So apparently white Americans in Minneapolis are putting Mexican flags on their cars so ICE agents waste time pulling them over. They call it ICE fishing. 🤣😂
An ICE prosecutor in Dallas, James Rodden, who was previously exposed for running a white-supremacist X account praising Hitler and calling America a “White nation,” is quietly back in immigration court. After the Texas Observer revealed his online activity last year, he was pulled from court schedules and Congress demanded an investigation. Immigration and Customs Enforcement promised a review within 120 days. That deadline blew past with zero public outcome.
Now Rodden has resurfaced at the prosecutor’s table, badge on, no explanation given. ICE refuses to comment. The account is still active, just locked. Bottom line: a government lawyer who openly promotes racist ideology appears to be prosecuting immigrants again, with no transparency, no accountability, and no evidence that ICE ever did what it claimed it would do.
Same system. Same silence. Same bullshit.

Every U.S. president from 1901–present has been involved in Latin American regime change. The US remains an imperialist presence in Latin America.
The Kansas City Chiefs are relocating from Missouri to Kansas and getting a new $3 billion stadium.
60 percent of it will be publicly funded — despite the owners boasting a nearly $25 billion net worth.
This isn't the first stadium scam we've seen recently...
@AlexCuestaShow @ABC In fairness Republicans opposed universal healthcare and then watered down ACA over the years through various legislative moves. No longer as designed. Can't say current form is entirely on backs of Dems.
@LetGoMet@DanClarkSports And if the team doesn't live up to expectations, under performs, doesn't make playoffs, the players should be paid extra for the organization not living up to expectations too, right?
Yesterday’s Supreme Court hearing on the Voting Rights Act left no doubt about its future: the six Republican justices are going to gut the act and make it all but meaningless as a source of protection of Black voting rights. @ElieNYC offers his analysis.

As we’re trying to process the Charlie Kirk shooting, there’s reports of officers responding to a mass shooting at Evergreen High School in Denver, Colorado.
This is America.
GUN VIOLENCE is rampant and it permeates every aspect of our society.
I’m disgusted.
