Karns Fire Department is on the scene of a residential structure fire in the area of Westerly Winds. Please use caution if traveling in this area.

A controlled burn was conducted in the area yesterday and another large one today. This has created a significant amount of smoke that has blanketed our area. Smoke can cause eye and respiratory irritation. If you are sensitive to this, take precautions when outside.

Karns Fire is currently working to contain a large wildland fire in the Hardin Valley Community. TN Department of Forestry is assisting in containment with tracked dozers.
