@drjessicawatson My 15year old is the same. Day 4 he lost his taste and smell, headache is beginning to hurt less, the cough is horrible, he is sleeping loads so hoping that helps him 😪

I changed over to UC after a job loss and a new job, no gaps thankfully during the pandemic, so the extra 20 did mean alot...and it's surprising how far that will stretch budgeting

@GMB @BootstrapCook Maybe for some it was...maybe for some it wasn't, as if you started a new job during the pandemic, you received it automatically, so never knew what it was like before the top up...Not everyone that gets UC is unemployed, people also use UC as a top up to their wages.

@GMB @BootstrapCook It used to be working tax credits, the it all changed to universal credit which was already at a lower amount... the £20 top up was a bonus yes, but its not going up to help with the rising household costs. The top up needs to stay to prevent the poorer being poorer.
