This week, we engaged with Integrity Club students in Kakamega and CSO partners in Kisumu with @TISAKenya under the #TUNU programme @EUinKenya. Discussions focused on integrity, youth participation, accountability and citizen oversight.
Why are Baringo’s hospital services failing? Why is Uasin Gishu’s 64 Stadium stalled while completed classrooms sit empty?
Public promises don't just fail they get quietly defunded.
We brought together CSOs and county leaders to stop debating community issues in the abstract. Instead, we identified them through the paper trail: from development plans straight down to budget implementation histories.
The result? Immediate https://t.co/UYm51GigCe bureaucratic scripts. Technical teams were forced to scramble on their phones mid-meeting to verify project statuses on the spot.
Even County Directors stayed the entire day. Why? Because they realized this exact tracking framework is how to protect their own department's budget from being gutted.
Data isn't just for reports its an accountability trail
