9/10 So I think the take isn't: "They're the same person."
And it isn't: "They have zero parallels." It's that they touch similar themes but arrive there from completely different places.
The similarities are interesting. But the differences are what make them work.
Thinking about how Tsukasa's loudness might also be a kind of honesty.
Because he feels things at 100%.
Embarrassment at 100%.
Joy at 100%.
Care at 100%.
That's why when he loves people, he does it with his whole chest. #pjsktwt
I think Tsukasa secretly likes being relied on more than being praised.
Praise says: "You're amazing."
Being relied on says: "We need you."
And that second one probably matters more to him. #pjsktwt
Rui: Tsukasa-kun! I finally got eye surgery to fix my winking disease
Tsukasa: Hahaha! Congrats, Rui!!
Rui: ...Tsukasa-kun? What's wrong with your eye? Why do you have one shut?
Tsukasa: Who do you think gave you that eye?
Rui: ...
Additionally, please note that this is just my interpretation on the overall story of the event.
I am welcomed to hear other perspectives regarding this. Thank you for listening to/reading my yap session. 👋
1/10—Spoilers on #kasa7 !
Kasa7 changed everything we know about Tsukasa Tenma. For years, he’s been the loud, boisterous comic relief. But this event completely shatters his "future star" facade to reveal deeply repressed childhood trauma.
Here's my interpretation: 🧵👇
10/10
Though WxS pulled him back, the ending is deeply ominous. Tsukasa’s psychological wounds are wide open, and Sakaki still has dark plans for him. #Kasa completely subverted the "happy star" trope into a masterful, heartbreaking look at trauma.
