Congratulations to now senior Michael Hightower for winning the Gwendolyn Brooks Youth Poetry award! That makes two years in a row that one of members of our poetry class has won this prestigious award!

Today members of our poetry class and sculpture students went to Springfield with the @chicagohomeless to advocate for more funding to help our most vulnerable in our city.
