@MTGSecretLair II was really hoping for another countdown kit.. but I guess I didn't specify it clearly enough... The reason I liked the first one so much is because it was random art styles from historic magic cards... this one is Marvel...
@GamingToups@MTGSecretLair The good news is, you can just skip it :) Personally I like there's a lot of new cards, and then I don't bother buying most of it :)
@DJCrazyLeg@MTGSecretLair You're missing the point of Secret Lairs. They're collectable! If you want to print a proxy with art on a card you like, go ahead of course =)
@thepoolshark@wizards_magic That won't matter, it's been printed on schedule, shipped on schedule.. That would've been the same if they just had 1 set release.
@budddah_420@wizards_magic I get it, some sets really don't match the vibe, like the Marvel stuff. Some UB sets do match though, the Avatar example, if you gave them some different names it would've fit right in as in universe stuff.
And the Art is subjective, digitally altered, but not AI.
@CrB_Games@wizards_magic Lord of the Rings was the best selling set of all time until Final Fantasy took that crown. I don't see those lose the top spot soon though.
@CrB_Games@wizards_magic The sales figures tell a different story, best selling sets are all UB... apparently people do want it! (Yes there's also some sets nobody cared about, I am aware)
@budddah_420@wizards_magic Just because you don't like it doesn't mean there's a much larger group of new players who really enjoy it! Includes people I know who never played the game.. but then they made Avatar
I'm also trying to get people to be more positive on the internet #foolish
@Hoppfrosch_@MTGSecretLair I know it's a terrible system, it's a lottery.. but I at least go do something else, I'll hear the noise once/if it's my turn
