The NCAA national office and SHSU will be closed in observance of Juneteenth today (June 20).

Only 🏀 and 🏈 are permitted summer CARA. All other sports are out-of-season and cannot engage in any CARA until their respective fall start dates.

The @ncaaec will be closed tomorrow, in honor of Juneteenth. Normal business hours will resume Tuesday, June 21.

In celebration and observance of the Juneteenth holiday, campus will be closed Monday, June 20th.

Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when federal troops arrived in Texas and declared the enslaved people were free. It is considered the longest-running African American holiday.
