This week was nurse, teacher, and daycare appreciation week. As a working physician mom who is married to a teacher, can’t we agree to space these out a little?

#medtwitter if you don’t know if a medication is ok in breastfeeding, just say so. Its horrifying that doctors are telling women to pump + dump unnecessarily. The vast, vast majority of medicines (and contrast! and anesthesia!) are safe. Pump + dump is a HUGE DEAL for mom + baby
