@PATHTrain
Good morning,
Happy Thursday! I was hoping you could tell me if there was a time frame for the return of the ceiling mounted fans at Hoboken. It gets really warm down on the platform and it also helps reduce unpleasant odors.
Kind regards,
Kate

Good morning,
I am currently at Hoboken and there is someone passed out on the platform between track 2 and track 3. They appear to breathing but they’re in the middle of the floor.
Kind regards,
Kate

Good morning,
I am currently at Hoboken terminal on the platform between track 2 and track 3 and there are four people that appear to be passed out on the platform. They all appear to be breathing, so based on the cans of lager I’m guessing they overindulged.
Kind regards,
Kate
@PATHTrain
Good morning,
The below images show a man on a train that was closed up and parked on track 3 at Hoboken. This train is not in service until 6:10AM.
Kind regards,

Good evening,
This is the current situation on the 5;36PM from 33rd Street to Hoboken. This guy is blocking the door and half the floor space. There is another one at the end of the car doing the same thing.
Kind regards,
Kate
@PATHTrain Thank you so much for the quick reply. I understand the position the agency is in relating to enforcing the rules. I just wanted to share another example of how this impacts riders.
Have a great night!
Kind regards,
Kate

Good evening,
I wanted to provide another example of the rush hour issue with bikes on the 33rd Street to
Hoboken train. This bike was blocking the door on the 5:28PM out of 33rd Street. I didn’t even see anyone to whom the bike might have belonged. It’s my understanding that bikes like this are not permitted from 3:30PM to 6:30 PM.
Kind regards,
Kate
Good morning,
Thank you as always for the quick response. I appreciate the rule enforcement challenges. We tolerate vaping, large dogs, bikes and scooters on our trains and platforms. I just wanted to make the agency aware of the issue. My concern is that someone walking or standing on the platform will get injured because they ride as if they are outside.
Have a great day!
Kate
@PATHTrain
Good morning,
Is there anything that can be done about people riding scooters and bikes inside stations? This is a huge problem at 33rd Street. There has to be some rule that is enforceable.
Kind regards,
Kate
@SolomonforJC Good luck fixing NJ Transit. I genuinely believe that system is irretrievably broken. Complaints never get addressed and nothing ever changes for the better. I speak from 15 years experience living in Jersey City Heights.
@PATHTrain
Thank you, you promised to have the Hoboken station reopened today and you did. Your train crews, absolute rockstars. They showed up for us every single day with professionalism and patience. You should be proud.
Kind regards,
Kate
