I’d just like to say that my social media handles are the same everywhere that I have sm presence.
Also, if someone happens to have a key to that blue sky out there let me know…

For context, if you don't have people helping you out with steps of the process while working on a 150 page book you have to:
-Thumbnail/lay out 150 pages
-Pencil 150 pages
-Ink those 150 penciled pages
-Color those inked 150 pages
-Letter 150 pages
That is 750 pages of work
@HannahTempler *adjusts my poorly fitting suit smugly* heh… well kid, that’s why you don’t make the Big Bux. Now excuse me I must go yell at my stupid wife and our horrible children for not doing everything for me so that I may focus on this movie about how my dad didn’t look at me enough
This kind of treatment is what burns artists out and makes them leave the industry. We’re losing incredible talent where people are quietly saying ‘never again’, we won’t get this kind of interesting, experimental work from people who are burned out and frustrated.
people who don’t do a quarter of the work we do have to gaslight us into thinking we’re wrong for asking for or expecting that because they can’t wring as much cheap fast labor out of us if we don’t believe it
unfortunately for the people who would like to pretend it isn’t happening artists are not going to stop talking about what our industries do to us mentally and physically, and trying to fight for better, anytime soon. injury and death should not be acceptable or expected outcomes
A few animators for ‘ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE’ have came out about unsustainable working conditions that caused approx 100 artists to leave the film
These included demands to redo finished work 5X + potential 11hrs a day for 7 day working weeks.
