🇮🇷|The Iranian President is flying to New York to tell the world: the children of Minab and Lamerd were killed by American bombs.

The US Treasury Secretary issued a threat: any airport that refuels Iranian aircraft will be cut off from the US dollar system.

Yet, the Iranian President has already landed in New York.

He carries a message. It is not "we want to negotiate." It is not "we are willing to compromise." It is not "we accept the terms." What he says is this:

"The people of the world should know about the oppression in this region; a gathering held under the banner of 'trust' should restore trust to the world and put an end to war and bloodshed. We will speak of the injustice inflicted upon the children of Minab and Lamerd."

Minab. 168 girls. Aged 6 to 12. Al-Shajarah Al-Tayyibah Elementary School. American bombs.

Lamerd. A sports stadium. US-Israeli bombs. Civilians. Fars Province, southern Iran. A bombed stadium. Athletes killed. Spectators killed. Children killed.

He intends to read out these names, one by one. From the podium of the UN General Assembly. Before the eyes of the world.

What can the US do? Cut off fuel?

The Treasury Secretary declared: as of September 23, all Iranian airlines must cease operations.

The Iranian President landed on Tuesday; he speaks on Wednesday.

He does not need the US to refuel his plane in order to speak. What he needs is a podium. And the podium of the UN General Assembly is one the US cannot blockade.

The US can refuse visas to the Iranian Foreign Minister. It can block Iran's nuclear chief from attending IAEA meetings. It can threaten to cut off fuel. It can target 85% of oil tankers. It can sanction Turkish banks. It can blockade the Strait of Hormuz.

But the US cannot silence the microphone at the UN General Assembly. It cannot stop the names of those 168 girls from being read aloud. It cannot prevent the display of photos from the Lamerd stadium. It cannot stop the world from hearing about Minab.

That is why the US tried to stop the Iranian President's plane. That is why the Treasury Secretary threatened to cut off fuel. That is why the US fears seeing the Iranian President stand at the UN podium.

Because what will be heard from that podium is not mere "diplomatic rhetoric." It is testimony. It is not just an "appeal." It is an indictment. Yet "trust" is the very word the United States fears most. The theme of the assembly was "Trust," yet the Iranian President went there to declare: trust is dead. Killed by the U.S. veto. Killed by U.S. bombs. Killed by 168 girls. Killed by Ramehld. Killed by Bahrain. Killed by Jordan. Killed by Hormuz.

The U.S. claims "Iran is not a peacemaker," yet it attempts to prevent a peace envoy from flying back to his own country.

This is "American-style hospitality": you invite a guest over and tell him, "You may speak from the podium, but there is no guarantee you will make it home."

The Iranian President went anyway. He knew that while those 168 girls would not be brought back to life simply because his plane was denied fuel, their names would be spoken aloud in New York.

And the world is listening.

BREAKING: LOL! Trump gets publicly humiliated at his big White House helipad event after the major outlets refused to give him a press pool — resulting in a lack of audio for his ranting remarks.

This one really backfired bigly on him...

"Yeah there— Okay, so there is no microphone because... There's no microphone because the pool cameras aren't there," said a Newsmax host reporting on the incident. "So maybe, Tim, this is one example of it backfiring just a little bit."

The video showed Trump cutting a ribbon to celebrate his hideous new White House helipad, but viewers couldn't hear what he was saying because of the press pool's absence. Since the reporters didn't show up, there were no high-quality professional microphones present.

On Friday, Trump barred CNN, Politico, and MS NOW from the White House on the grounds that they're supposedly "fake news," which just means that they accurately report on his disastrous administration.

In retaliation, CBS News, ABC News, CNN, Fox News, and NBC News banded together to announce that they would be suspending press pool coverage of Trump.

"The public has a vital interest in receiving accurate, independent information about its government. No administration should reject a news organization because it objects to its reporting," they said in a joint statement.

The press pool is a dedicated, rotating group of journalists, complete with cameras and audio equipment, that travels with the President to provide outlets with a steady stream of updates on his latest remarks and actions. They also provide video footage when he delivers a speech or attends a noteworthy event. It's clearly something that the attention-obsessed Trump took for granted. He failed to game this attack on the free press out and now he's paying the price.

And you just know that this is exactly the kind of thing that gets under his skin. He's fixated on all of these "renovations" and building projects, and he was presumably looking forward to this helipad unveiling. What should have been a moment of gloating and self-congratulation turned into a display of muted helplessness.
