I just stated a fact. You can be as angry as you want. The fact remains that crossing the border is a misdemeanor whether you like it or not. It is not a serious crime per the law. Change the law if you don't like it. It's not my fault it was written this way.
As for it being like a traffic ticket, the comparison was just to show how serious a misdemeanor is compared to a felony. Again, I didn't write the law. I'm just stating what it says.
