@AngelikiStg @robherdch3 Having spoken to a neighbour, there was also a lady there at approximately 7:30am this morning. When I went, there were two gentlemen.
@AngelikiStg @robherdch3 I have just been to vote at Tilston polling station & found a Tory teller INSIDE the building. Apparently, the inspector has approved this as it’s not over the threshold of the voting room. Surely this is a contravention of the rules?

Undercover investigations into farms supplying Lidl have revealed filthy conditions and appalling suffering for chickens. Join me and demand that @LidlGB stops profiting from cruelty and signs up to the Better Chicken Commitment. #LidlChickenScandal https://t.co/3cqzTasELI
Lady in green, "As a child I couldn't understand how the nazis came to power. And now I understand it... Truss and Kwarteng tanked the economy, my daughter is paying £400 more a month for her mortgage. They are deflecting all of that by talking about small boats." #BBCQT
@mancunianmedic It’s surprising given the rhetoric how many other countries have most of their healthcare public financed
The #NHS is just underfunded compared to other comparable nations
There are many opinions out there as to whether @LewisCapaldi should have performed @glastonbury My opinion is what an amazingly brave, beautiful man. With mental health conditions, you can never quite guess, when you’re not your best, what will happen, but it really doesn’t 1/2

I fell to the floor when I got the call to say Dad had attempted suicide. I was by his bedside when his heart stopped beating.
He was 55.
I loved him, we all did and still do.
Dad’s death turned my world upside down and I knew that things would never be the same again.
I yearned for the person that I used to be and questioned why this heartbreak had happened to my beautiful little family.
During Dad’s inquest, I learnt far too much about suicide to walk away, I was invested and I felt an all-consuming urge to do something. I had two options:
1) Bang the drum and hope that someone would listen.
2) Do it myself.
I made the decision to have a go myself. I quit my job, quit friendships, quit my abusive relationship, quit anything and everything that wasn’t serving me well. I picked the parts of my personality that were worth keeping and binned the rest. I realised that I was very selfish prior to my Dad’s death. I stopped yearning for the person I was before and decided to build myself back as the person I wanted it to be, the person my family deserved and ultimately the person that individuals in a suicidal crisis needed.
On 23rd February 2019, I opened The Martin Gallier Project, the UK’s first and only suicide prevention, intervention and postvention charity. A non-clinical centre, offering crisis support on the high street, with no barriers to access. My mission was to make accessing support for thoughts of suicide as “normal” as buying a coffee.
To date, @TMartinGallierP has completed over 23,000 life-saving suicide interventions. I’m proud of that, and I’m sure my Dad would be too.

Context to this week’s debate.
In 2013 Adebowale @Voa1234 commission - set up by then head of Met - concluded mental health is core part of police work.
This was era of street triage & Crisis Concordat & theme was frontline collaboration.

If we want improvement across a system, we need to hold each other to account for behaviours, not just outcomes. When leaders & teams behave respectfully to each other at work, they create the conditions for improvement far more than any outcome-oriented performance drive: https://t.co/abuVeiJB4m Another great blog from @DrNicolaBurgess@WarwickBSchool. Tweetchat on this topic next Tues 6th June 7-8pm #LeadingQI
Poorly judged & potentially dangerous.
Good frontline agencies work together - crises can have mental health, social & safety elements.
And mental ill-health is common - no sector serving the public can simply withdraw from it.
