Ecologically illiterate piece in the Times today, virtually a puff piece for developers listing all their gripes
“Nobody bothered much about bats and newts in the past”
Moans about having to survey “interesting weeds” before building

Quite an experience having BBC with us yesterday for autumn statement. Let’s say we had a range of ideas and views on answers to the mess we are in but I think “is the definition of insanity doing the same thing and expecting different results?”
@Connexin please call me. We have had no internet and phones for our business for a week. This is unacceptable. Call us and tell us how you sorting this
@Connexin we have been without phones and internet for over a week for our business. We have had to shut our centre. Still you do not call us back to tell us how you will fix this. Terrible service
There's no #optionality if money is the only way to meet needs, exchange, give, or receive value.
Spending time with HUMANS mutual aid networks team talking about time banking, common funds, gifting, MCC, feasts, sharing, SO MANY ways to live literally collapsing into money.
From Thursday 31st Aug until Sunday 3rd Sept, #ShorelinesAPerfectStorm will be taking over our social media accounts, live from the @FreedomFestHull! Follow along, whether you can make it to #Hull or not #CommunityVoice#ClimateCrisis

Thanks to conductor on @trainsnorthern Beverley to Sheffield train who so helpful in ensuring we had best chance of making our connection after train delayed. We made it! 😁
@TheCarlWheatley Not having local reporters representing local people would avoid people like Liz Truss actually being challenged on cruel policies. That feels like an agenda
1. I've long wondered how nations slide into authoritarianism. Why do people accept the loss of their freedoms? Why do they not rise up together against oppression? Now that it's happening in the UK, I think I have an answer. Thread/
@BBCr4today@seanfarrington Our much loved presenters which we have a relationship with have all been let go. It obscene. They are the ones we local people have a relationship with, not the station.
