This false dichotomy stuff is getting old fast. The $40 billion a year aid to Ukraine is 5% of the DOD budget. It is mostly spent in the US. The bigger figure is the seven year authorization (declining each year)[often assumed to be the annual amount or deliberately misrepresented as the annual amoiunt]. The aid is audited and tracked very effectively.
Nothing about aiding Ukraien stops us from doing anything else with a $6.5 trillion federal budget. Many of the problems are also not simply solved by throwing federal money at them as we have learned over the years.
The consequences of Russian winning would be devastating to Europe and, in turn, to the US. The fact that you do not understand that does not make it go away. The US would end up having to spent more to confront a stronger Russia or retreat and see our influecne and economy contract (10% of our GDP in from European trade). So get serious and stop the absurd statements about Ukraine aid stoppiong asnythign else from happening. It is stopping Putin and Ukraine is winning. #FalseDichotomy #UkraineMustWin
